Staffing & Related charges

Service staff is provided at the rates listed below. A standard admin fee of 15% is charged and covers the management and administration of the event. Gratuity is appreciated, but not required

Captain – 1 per event

Servers – 1 per 35 guest 

Bartender – 1 per 75 Guest (Beer & Wine Only)

Bartender – 1 per 60 (beer, Wine, Two Specialty cocktails) 

Here at The Cook & The Drummer, we strive to make your event the best ever! Here are some helpful ways we can best work together

Add-ons/ Extra Charges

  • A mandatory walk-through with our Captain is required, with a fee of $250.
  • Additional charges may apply for common add-ons listed on the next page.
  • Staffing charges are based on an 8-hour day; overtime fees may apply for longer events.
  • Additional staff may be necessary for significantly increased guest counts.
  • Venue requirements for trash and recycling removal may result in additional charges not included in the proposal.
  • Additional costs may apply for handling, cleaning, and checking in/out client rentals.
  • Your proposal includes five hours of planning from our Event Coordinator, Event Captain, and Chef. Additional planning time may incur extra charges

Handling Rentals

  • While our staff will suggest the suitable quantities of rentals for your event, it is the client’s or wedding coordinator’s responsibility to order the necessary amount of rentals, check them in and out of the event, and verify their functionality.
  • If C&D staff is required to manage these tasks, additional charges will apply

Wedding Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Greeting and directing guests to the ceremony location.
  • Ensuring adherence to the event timeline and communicating any timing adjustments to us promptly.
  • Ensuring punctuality of the bridal party for the ceremony.
  • Providing guidance on decor and taking the lead on its execution (we do not handle decor, flowers, or party favors).
  • Organizing the orderly dismissal of tables for buffet service.
  • Managing speech schedules.
  • Directing the sequence for dessert and dancing.
  • Guiding guests during departure
